What are the signs that I might need a root canal?
There is a possibility that you may show no symptoms, however usually the need for a root canal procedure can be indicated by:
- Persistent sensitivity in tooth to heat or cold even after it has been removed
- Acute toothache while chewing
- Tender or swollen gums
- Darkening of the tooth
- Face or neck swelling up
