Fees & Payments

We make every effort to keep our fees as low as possible while still providing our patients with the very best in oral care. Our dentists understand that dental treatment can often be unexpected and will provide you with treatment options to best suit your personal and financial needs. After an examination, your dentist can also provide you with a written quote of your treatment options, so you will be financially aware before proceeding with any treatment.

We are proud to be associated with most major Health Funds meaning our patients have access to the highest rebates possible. Interest free payment plans are available to further make going to the dentist as easy as possible for our patients’. We also offer students and seniors over the age of 65 a 10% discount on most general dental treatment. All of this makes going to the dentist at Fernvale Dental as affordable as possible!

We have a variety of payment options available here at Fernvale Dental. We accept cash and EFTPOS payments and also have HICAPS facilities for instant health fund claims. It is our practice policy that full payment is due at the time of service.

Veterans
We accept current card holders of DVA Gold and White cards. Please bring your card along with you to your appointment.
Students and Seniors
Students and seniors over the age of 65 will receive a 10% discount on most general dental treatment options.
NILS – No Interest Loan Scheme

How does NILS work in your community?

NILS isn’t a payday loan and it’s not a bank loan. NILS works through a process called ‘circular community credit’. This means when a borrower makes a repayment to NILS, the funds are then available to someone else in the community. The Provider Network is a national network of accredited microfinance providers, coordinated by Good Shepherd Microfinance. Microfinance providers are community organisations with a shared commitment to helping people out of poverty towards economic independence. Please note, loan purpose and eligibility criteria vary across NILS programs. To apply for a loan through the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) visit http://nils.com.au/ or call 13 NILS (13 64 57)

Taxation Entitlements
It is a good idea to keep your dental invoices as you may be entitled to a 20% rebate on the total of all medical expenses for your family that exceed $1500. If you have private health insurance this only applies to the out of pocket expenses after your private health rebate. For more information speak to your accountant.

We offer interest free payment plans.
