Traditional braces use brackets and wires to gradually move teeth into their proper position. This type of treatment is often used for more complex dental issues. Clear aligners use clear, removable retainers to gently shift teeth into place and are often used for less severe dental issues.

Both traditional braces and clear aligners are effective treatments for orthodontic issues. However, traditional braces are more visible and generally require more frequent visits to the orthodontist than clear aligners.
